My Shitty Life: A Checkup

It has been a complete year. I wish I could say that it has been a comlete regenesis but that would be a lie and I detest those. It has been a full year since the panic attack/breakdown and so very very many things have happened. I think after this year I can honestly say that I have become a better person but at great cost. A year in which I lost so very very many people I loved, dealt with long buried issues, fell in love and got rejected. A year in which I cried more times that I can count, honestly connected with other people and had my heart broken again and again. This was the worst year of my life, which hasnt exactly been a gem. I am making the best of it. I have made strides this year in the hardest ways possible I am now a stronger, ultimately happier individual. I am still all the things that made me great before loving, kind, funny, intelligent and warm but now I can proudly say that I am for once also not too trusting, performing the mommy function, and am gaining some social aptitude. Though I am nowhere near perfect at any of these skills I am bettering myself. THis year has been incredibly painful for me and I can admit that while writing this its impossible to hold back tears. I can only sincerly hope that all of this will make me stronger and that my life in the future will be better. Whats funny is that when I was in high school I had always hoped that only good times were ahead because I had been through my lifetime's allotment of horrible things. This was not what was in store for me. If you have stuck with me through all of this I really appreciate it. I know me changing was probably difficult for you. I am trying to keep to all of my life changes even though it is hard. My resolutions are also something I have to stick to. I don't know what else to say. This year has just been so hard and writing this note makes me feel like such a whiny goddamn cunt. But I cant help it. I still often feel really really deeply depressed even though my life changes are helping me. There is so much more left to do that I am so scared.

ORGIES!!!!!!! just kidding its resolution time but orgies may be part of that ;) more on that later. Here is my list of resolutions for the new year.
1) Loose 60 lbs to put it out there I started at 240 and 6'1" If you do the BMI its slightly obese and that is disgusting and completely my fault cause I just let shit go completely.
2) Let everything that happened in this circle jerk clusterfuck of a year and the one before go. That means no negative mentions of or being jerked aroung by the following pple: Shanna, Sam, CP, Pierce and probably others that I cant think of. They shall cause me pain no longer.
3) Take better care of myself. This mean no more tshirts and frizzy ponytail to class all the time. Keep nails painted. Generally just be more girly outwardly.
4) Make at least 3 new actual friends. I need to stop being such a total fucking social goddamn retard and interact with people.
5) Have a Sunday routine. Go to a movie every sunday update this site and read 30 pages from a book I actually enjoy. Routine is good for the soul if it happens one day a week and since I dont go to church or anything doing 2 or my fav activites isnt a bad idea.
6) Get a fucking bf. Not a dude I fall in love with without dating or a not yet out of the closet gay dude. Find someone I can care about and date. Which relates to 7
7) No mo virgin. Its time to grow up in a sexual manner. I am a very sexual person and its not appropriate to just get down with myself anymore. I want the first to be someone I can remember and have good memories with. After that, well... I have a feeling that I may turn into a bit of a whore. That isnt nescessarily a bad thing either. Tee hee.
8) Psychologically get better. I am still depressed but working out the shit which is part of the process but it needs to be done with. Being a mess is just not good practice.
9) Better grades. After the whole depression thing my grades plummeted from what I used to get. It shall be straight A's again not straight B's. My fucking gpa sucks.
Goddamnit MY LIFE WILL BE BETTER!!!! I AM CAPABLE OF DOING ALL OF THIS!!!! LET THE NEW YEAR MOTHERFUCKING BEGIN!!!!! THIS SHIT IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry I havent posted in a week or so. I have been lazing around my parents house and havent been motivated to do much of anything. I think that I will only be posting whenever I feel like it and less like a job. I am a college student and have more important things to do. However there are a few things that you should know about. I changed the layout and stuff because it was irriating me and taking the webpage far too fucking long to load. I have a new theme song thanks to MC Chris. Nrrrd Grrrl. Its essentially an anthem to me a gals like me. I have been watching movies in order to escape my family in addition to all episodes of Rock of Love Charm School that were out so far. That for sure brought the lols. I liked all of the movies that I saw so I will just list them and encourage you to see them. Eastern Promises, Blood:The Last Vampire, Word Wars, The Day The Earth Stood Still (good 1950's version), Waterworld, and Mommie Dearest. I will no doubt watch many more movies in the coming days and I will let you know how much I like them.

Burn After Reading-Coen Brothers havent made their best movie with this film but it wasn enjoyable if not completely ridiculous. "It's something, isn't it? Deliver Us from Evil- This movie made me almost never want to have kids so none of this could ever happen to them. It is a documentary about a specific priest and how he molested many many children and the diocese let him get away with it. UGGGGGHHHH!!!!! Heebie jeebies!!! I cant pick a quote for this movie because it should just be watched all the way though.
Mad Max- I dont understand what is so motherfucking awesome about this movie i found it fucking boring and icky. DONT BOTHER TO WATCH THIS MOVIE. FUCK QUOTES FOR THIS MOVIE IT SUCKS
Times Of Harvey Milk- I watched this yesterday in commemoration of a day without gays. I cried and I am not ashamed to admit it. Fill in your own statements about equality and human rights here I think that you know what I am probably going to say. t was one of the most eloquent expressions of a community's response to violence that I've ever seen, and I think that we as Lesbians and Gay men, and all the straight people who where marching with us that night - and there were thousands - I think we said it. I think we sent a message to the nation that night about what our immediate response was - not violence, but a certain respect for Harvey and a deep... a deep... regret and feeling of tragedy about it, because Moscone had been our friend as well.
Speed Racer- VISUALLY STUNNING It almost reminds me of the way that Pushing Daisies is shot. A heartwarming story shot well. Its kind of like the kids version of george orwell which i can totally dig. I dont understand why this movie didnt do better ar the box office and with critics. "More like a "non"-ja. Dark Knight- Even better the second time and I got my hands on a quality bootleg copy so it was pretty motherfuckin sweet. "I can make this pencil disappear"
Machinist- I am currently watching it after putting it off forever. Christian bale in this movie makes me feel physically sick with how skinny he is. ICK!

i dont think its propoganda its just the story of one girls choice i know its touchy for you but it really is just a sweet and funny story thats all

Actually, if you look more into it you'd understand why I think it's adoption propaganda. It's not just my feelings, it's the feelings of so many. It's an inaccurate portrayal. You cannot birth a baby and not come in contact with it, let alone close your eyes, before signing any papers [it's illegal]. Second of all, closed adoption was a thing of ... Read Morethe past. It's a great disservice for adoptees to have a closed adoption. That means, no identifying information. Infants grieve the loss of their mother post relinquishment. An infant is not a clean slate to mold, they have a past. While Juno is a story of one girl's choice, which I fully support everyone having a different reaction to different situations, I don't think it's fair to put a movie out that depicts relinquishment being something you move on from. With the growing billion dollar industry we call infant domestic adoption, I see the film as propaganda. Girls are already solicited enough as it is. Even on facebook there are ads. You know those, "Pregnant? Need help?" ads are so often links to adoption agencies. Sorry, but it's something I feel very strongly about. I know too many birthmothers whom were tricked, coerced, and lied to about adoption. It was a very cute and funny movie overall, I just don't like the message.

I know that lolcats are tired but this one is really actually funny. I am staying up all night to flip my schedule. Right now I sleep during the day and stay up at night. While that works for partying it docent do much for me cause I haven't been able to do much socially. Anyways a normal schedule awaits me tomorrow. So instead of the basic geeky info I have been giving I have some actual interesting stuff to tell you.
THis week I read the book Nick and Norahs Infinite Playlist and it was brilliant. The movie seemed to be a pretty accurate adaptation of the book possibly with less abarasive music. I am not sure I only saw half of the movie.
I have been watching a lot of movies lately because of my messed up schedule so if you haven't seen the following movies rent them, I have included my fav quotes to give you an idea of how awesome they are.:
Surf's Up: Not a big fan of non-pixar animation movies but this one is legitimately funny. " He's a dirty trash can full of poop"
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels: This was finally available on Hulu so I finally got around to watching it. FUCKING BRILLIANT! I always kind a thought guy ritchie was a twat and marrying/divorcing madonna didnt help but when it comes to films he is brilliant. "Once there was this geezer called Smithy Robinson, who worked for Harry. It was rumoured that he was on the take. Harry's invited Smithy round for explanation. Smithy didn't do a very good job. Within a minute, Harry's lost his rag. Reached out for the nearest thing at hand which happened to be a 15-inch black rubber cock. He's then proceeded to batter poor Smithy to death with it."
Evenings With Kevin Smith: There are three dvds of his talks and they are all fucking hilarious and the first two are on netflix watch instantly. "That's why you'll never see my name next to Scorsese, Woody Allen, and Spike Lee. Scorsese speaks a lot at NYU, and I'm damn skippy no one's ever been like, "I'll suck your dick for five bucks!"
The Craft: I sware I am the only teenage girl my age alive who hasnt seen this movie so I thought it was nescessary. It was terribly amusing. Which means to say amsuing because its terrible. "You know, if I were as pathetic as you are, I would have killed myself *ages* ago. You should get on with it."
Angel-A: This movie is hilarious and uplifting. Panned by the critics but not by me. "* Legs spread wide open after leaning back in a chair showing all of a pair of panties and smiling like she doesnt even know*"
Paprika: A beautiful anime about dreams and the true feelings inside each of us. Excellent and almost like a dream itself. "Don't you think dreams and the Internet are similar? They are both areas where the repressed conscious mind vents."
Jane Austen Book Club: Yeah its a romcom but slightly smarter than most cause my favorite author is the center of it. Squishy feelings and happy endings are all fabulous but romcom scripts are mostly the same insert your own quote here.
Capturing the Friedmans: A scary documentary tale of what happens when two men in a family are (falsely?) accused of a sex crime. The family devolves quickly. It shows how facts can be skewed and the way that people behave towards each other.
My Kid Could Paint That: Much in the same vein as Capturing the Friedmans it shows the way that people interact with each other. It also makes you question the nature of truth and what "real" art is. A little supposedly can paint beautiful modern art paintings. " That idea that art is not really about some truth, but it's about some lie being foisted on the public. There's a debunking quality to it. This seems genuine and honest. But abstract and modern art in general are a kind of racket, a put on."
Akira: This is supposedly one of the greatest movie animes of all time. Personally, I think the visuals are lacking but maybe thats becuase I am so familiar with the style that came after this. The story is quite excellent however and I wanted to see the original before they probably perverted it for the upcoming remake. "He's not your friend, he's ours! If somebody's gonna kill him, it should be us"
Next entry should be music related. Right now I am catching up on tv episodes. I love break. On a side not there is now a music player that features my most played music in itunes as of now. Also there is a new layout/decoration let me know what you think.

I am back. Finals were terrible but I have gotten two B's back so far. Lets see what the other two are. I have been sick and busy. Mostly with like earth shattering revelations and depression and nonsense. Its not something I want to get into but I am morphing into the beautiful butterfly I should be (sarcastic tone included in that sentiment). Anyways... SO in chicago they have this neat phenomenon where you can hop on a christmas decorated train and amuse small children. I have been on the lookout since i found out about them last year. to write a new blog entry. I found this band because of perez hilton and i am so fucking glad he posted it on his site. its an amazing band. please please check it out. my fav song is the one i first heard called tak o tak. also i am sure that you have heard that the economy is going into the shitter. i am not a particularly studious person when it comes to the economy and i am sure that most of you aren’t either. honestly most of this shit just goes completely over my head. i have found two articles which describe in relatively lamen terms whats going on. basically we are like super fucked and most economists are predicting that we are heading into what is pretty much a second great depression. also in more political news check out this video. if you are for some reason voting for mccain and are a woman or care about them i think you will change your mind. i also want to talk about one of the most popular podcasts on the net keith and the girl. its a fucking hilarious podcast that comes out 5 days a week. its made by keith and chemda a couple who lives in new york. they have been doing this for years it is pretty great and you dont have to go back to the first episode to realize what is going on. lastly, there is a video at the bottom of the page from gamestop and it honestly one of the best commercials i have ever freaking seen. True blood is wicked awesome if you haven’t watched it yet you can see it here for free. I wasn't a fan of the books I haven't actually heard of them before this show came out. However, i might seek them out because it is a really good universe that the show is based in. Also it has a lot of the good teen girl squishy moments that i loved so much in twilight. Fringe is the new J.j. abrams show and it is quite good. The story is pretty good and so are most of the characters, with one notable exception the main female character. she is so fucking stupid i want to punch her in the cunt. I also have watched most of the first season of six feet under. That was so awesome i just cant even believe it. Also on old shows that I am just catching on to is life. It honestly looked in the promos like a cheap csi ripoff but it totally wasn't i really like the main character he was so quirky and offbeat. Season finale of weeds was also this week and the lead-up for next season sounds interesting if a bit gimmicky.

This video is fucking hilarious. I sang this song in my head for days afterwards just don’t catch yourself singing it out loud it might get you in trouble. This article is a satire so dont be alarmed though i nearly pissed my pants reading it. THis video is a hilarious mishap. The greatest thing is the reporter has no idea what is going on behind him.

I love lady gaga. I have been obsessed with her single just dance. Also i love shiny toy guns new single ricochet. Despite replacing their lead singer i quite like it. Also i have been turned onto a new single from france. its called bitch by kylian mash. I am also a huge fan of punk goes crunk. Its a really good band. Its like a mix of fall out boy, bowling for soup, and singing hip hop songs. i especially like their cover of rihannas umbrella (i have also been listening to a lot of her lately)

i still havent had time to play spore. School has been consuming a lot of my life lately. actually i have two tests tomorrow so i should be studying.

this is just a small entry before i go to the dandy warhols concert!!!! i love the new metallica album and i just bought tix to their concert. fuck yeah! anyway check that out. listen to the new song from the plain white t’s called 1,2,3,4. its like hey there delilah and no matter what you say about that song now you know you loved it when it first came out (and probably know all the words too). i dont like most of their other stuff but know this song is going to be huge soon. in terms of politics once again. I Have Been Busy

i first want to start out saying that i want to remember what happened seven years ago. to all our police officers, firemen, troops and other do-gooders who protect america i want to say thank you for doing what you do. even though i dont agree on all the things that you do i appreciate you putting yourself in the way to protect me and other gracious americans.

O.K. to begin with i have been really really busy this week. i have been starting school and going to a bunch of concerts so i wont be able to blog a lot and i wont be able to podcast again until next week. sorry about that. yesterday i went to the does it offend you, yeah? concert and they were amazing. more about that in another post. i have gotten the game spore and am really excited to play it but i havent gotten time to play it. here are some assorted news items i found of interest but wont be able to talk about. i really like the song that kanye played after the vma’s and have been transformed into a complete kanye freak once again. thats all folks!
on a side note i really want to go to the metallica concert and the kaiser chiefs concert but dont want to go by myself. does anyone want to come with me?

i watched the vma’s today. usually they are crap but i do like to know who wins. this year they chose a delightfully funny british man and i nearly pissed myself. i do not think that most of the audience appreciated it though. do not ask me how i found this device but needless to say that i did. this is fucked up. i have always wanted to pee standing up without dripping issues but have never felt propelled to buy a gadget to aid me in doing so. this is completely and terrible useless but still awesome. also a group called improv everywhere is coming to chicago. they do really awesome stunts that are like pranks but without the harm. on the 28th they will be doing an mp3 experiment. check out their site for details. the terrible looking movie bangcock dangerous premiered this weekend. it did terrible. i don’t know how hollywood allows such crap to be released and be astonished as to why. they need to stop blaming piracy and start looking inward. here is an idea: start investing in new talent and ideas instead of renewing franchises or making remakes years later.

actually online t.v. to be more exact. i have recently been watching two series made by some of the same people. the first is abagails x-rated teen diary. its fucking hilarious but really hard to describe. this is my favorite “entry”. also i really enjoyed goodnight burbank which is really hilarious too. i have been trying to find internet tv thingys that are of real quality ever since dr. horrible came out. i cam currently checking out dead end days and stranger things and will let you know how those turn out soon.

i was going to tell you about tokio hotel and natalie portmans shaved head. but both of these bands that i have found have been ruined. one because tokio hotel got a vma and two because it was featured on perez hiltons website. so then i decided to do empire of th sun wich was featured on epic fu and they have lovely taste. but then perez hilton ruined it again for me and posted a video by them. he keeps beating me to all these new artists. i love these bands but feel like my chance to share them with someone has been taken away. anyway if you havent listened to either of them check them out. instead i am going to talk about the pipettes. they are from england. they sound like very 50’s and stuff. whenever i hear them i want to put on a lovely dress and some patent leather shoes and little white gloves. they sing about contemporary stuff but they make me deliciously happy.
