Ah… a new entry in my exciting new venture.  I have a whole lot of stuff I have been collecting for you all and after this piece of shit job that I have is over (Friday) I should be able to add to the site whenever I find something new/interesting.  Also, podcasting which I think will be a very interesting venture should be up within a week or so.  I am attempting it for the first time tonight and well, I don’t know how well that is going to go so…  Here is the good stuff:

Movies: A copy of the Dark Knight script is online if you REALLY REALLY want to see everything that was supposed to happen in the movie.  Apparently the genesis from Harvey Dent to Two-Face is complete in this movie (Page 163).  More news on the next Batman movie.  Talks are happening about it though they are not sure what is up quite yet.  Here are some rumors going around Cher/Angelina Jolie as Catwoman, Johnny Depp as The Riddler, Angelina Jolie as The Catwoman, Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin and finally The Scarecrow because of fear being the predominant issue in Dark Knight, the same way that escalation similarly calling for The Joker.

Also a movie called Smart People has been getting a lot of buzz.  Its an indie movie with a couple of rather successful stars SJP, Ellen Page, ect. and is supposed to be awesome.  It SUCKS!  It was fucking boring and supposed to be like a day in the life of these emotionally retarded people and how they “grow” as a person who is currently going through this is didn’t speak to me.  There is NO REASON AT ALL to see this movie. It is crap.

Games: I am not really a gamer though a lot of things have been influencing me to start.  But I came across this thing called Zero Punctuation which reviews games in a hilarious manner if you care at all about games watch it please.  Also Spore is coming out soon and I am excited and going to get it.

Amusement:  Sound this commercial for a thing called a Tiddy Bear.  Yes that is correct Tiddy Bear.  I cant even deal with how to explain it just please watch the video and description it is further down the page.  Stuff White People Like  I know the book ahs been on the best seller list for like 7 weeks and the website has been out forever but that’s OK.  I am on the latter end of the white curve and I rather enjoyed it.  If you are bored at work or wish to amuse yourself you could do worse than going through the archives of the freaking blog.  Shake Well Before Use is a blog maintained by another awesome smart girl who finds other funny stuff on the web including a lot of tech news.  She’s pretty freaking great.

Music: Ida Maria is from Norway which inexplicably often produces a lot of good music.  That seems to be the only export that I know of that I enjoy.  I am not saying Norway is worthless but… Anyway, Ida Maria is a pretty bitchin’ indie rocker who makes me smile even when I don’t want to AT ALL. So I dig it.

I am a HUGE GINORMOUS fan of Lily Allen.  Whatever she does in her free time is up to her but I enjoy her music so very much which is why her first single (not out in the US yet only the UK) is going here.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  It is a spiritual successor to Smile and is BITCHIN’

I don’t know if you have ever heard of Takashi Murakami but he is a really awesome artist out of Japan.  This is my favorite work of his it is like a mix between crack, Andy Warhol, and manga/anime style. You are most probably thinking why Madeline why are you talking about an artist in the music section?  This is MADNESS!!!!!! Well this is because he was responsible for the lovely cover art featured on Kanye West’s Graduation album.  The cute teddy bear thing?  Anyway he was apparently in charge of all the art direction for Graduation and has made a video for Good Morning.  It is animated by him and is so adorable my head almost blew up.

Books: I haven’t even been able to start the new Twilight book.  I did however finish The City of Ember which is supposed to turn into a movie soon but whatever.  Its technically a book for like pre teens but actually has a really good message and is well written and is pretty freakin awesome.  You should read it.
